Stepping from the
shower
and
hair dripping.
Wet.
See the corner?
Of the counter?
See the sharp corner?
If I
flip
my head
down
will I
possibly
hit myself on
the corner?
Of the counter?
I stand there a moment.
Longer.
Wondering.
Pondering, no less.
I turn to the right
and...
hair wrapped.

Do you have those what if? moments too?

I look at an oncoming truck when I am driving and wonder what it would feel like to hit it head on. I look at a girl's mouth and wonder what she would taste like if I kissed her.

I was just talking to my brother in Idaho, who is fighting through a case of Shingles.Apparently a very painful condition, especially since it broke out on his head.
Shingles is a form of adult chicken pox but much more painfull, if you have had chicken pox you carry the Shingle virus which could strike if your immune system is low, which he had just moved returned from a multiy day desert ride and well between the stress and the activity he is now learning about new forms of pain.He has been to the hospital a couple of times for treatment and he is in such pain they gave him oxycoton (sp) which he only takes every other day so as not to become addicted suffer withdrawal's and back it comes again.
At any rate the point is he visited a chiropractor/acupuncturist today who promised he could help him with the pain management. The good doctor cracked his neck well, but then took a hypodermic needle with some sort of sauce in it and made thirty injections into his head, along his eye brows etc. A large bore needle he explained for some reason. He then covered his head with a towell and my brother removed it to look and said it was soaked in blood, all which the Dr. explained was the point to bring blood flow to the area suffering the pain. Well my bro claims he will never do that again, unless as promised by tomorrow his pain is not as intense then he will sing the praises....I think this comment was longer than your post, which was good and included head injury's, hence the tangent.
